Hot damn, 11 second club finally.

Went to BMP tonight and finally got my 11 second run. Last time out I couldn't get anything better than 12.01.


This was on my 93 octane tune with 13* of timing, 17# of boost and a 75 wet shot, all on the stock block still. I believe the temp ouside was around 87 degrees. So as soon as cooler weather gets here, I'm going back to BMP and gonna see what I can get with my race tune and race gas...



I'll post up the timeslips tomorrow when I scan them in.

Trying for the stock block lightning record this winter. as soon as it cools off, I'm running my C16 tune which gives me an extra 100HP, so I should have any issues as long as my rods and block dont explode....

without the spray on the street tune hes at the limits.with the shot he well over and with the race tune and shot hes probably gonna pop.i hope he doesnt because i want to see a 10.99 at 125-130 out of a lightning with a stock motor.:SolidStraight:

I've run a Race tune before with 18* of timing with race gas.

With my Killer Chiller I've even run 16* timing on 93 pump gas with no detonation.

Just waiting on cooler weather to get here before I go back out to the track.

But your right, this block is ready to pop anyday now. But it sure is fun, and like 03scgt says then it just gives me a reason to get a built block.
