does anyone know anything about this company or have this? along with tires i think the 2 step would really help me with launching and the WOT shifter would help out my tranny a bit

Never heard of them. Google it and look for some reviews and stuff.
Flat foot shifting is nice and the LC is pretty fun too. It says that the system uses ignition cut so you'll be shooting some nice flames and popping.

every single place ive looked has given a great review, they make it so alot of cars and the only thing ive heard is a guy with a cobalt SS blew out his stock cat. i think this is what i might buy next.

a 2 step is not going to help you.all it going to do is build boost off the line causng you to spin more.get a clutch motor mounts and a tranny mount next.maybe some traction bars.other wise your gonna start breaking shit with wheel hop

Ignition cut + cats = fail
+1 to what Anthony said. There are better things to spend your money on at this point. The flat foot shifting will save you a bit of time but the LC will just make you spin more. I liked it in my STi because the extra boost off the line really helped but in your case, not so much.
That being said, you'll have a fun time being a ricer and hitting the 2 step 50 times at the meet.

Ok man i had a srt4 and let me tell you give up on traction. I dynoed 310/344 on the stock turbo and had full motor mount even the trans mount, traction bars with the b woody brace, coilovers, bushings, everything you could on to help traction on it and i could spin all of 3rd. @ steps dont help a launch without slicks on. Like said above it will just build boost. I personnally like to feather gas as i launch helps catch but. Its front wheel drive so spend more time learning rpms and throttling the gas then trying to stop traction by modding. Traction bars did help my srt4 quite a bit...

sounds like you just need a driver mod. spend some time and learn to drive you own car. Every car has it's own characteristics when launching. spend like an hour on an empty road in mexico, and just do launches.
dont buy stupid gimicks you find on the internet.
gay as it sounds practice makes perfect....period

True, remember at immok when you were whooping ass on that red srt-4 off the line that had a lot more HP. That's because you don't have a lot of power. Don't give up your only advantage (with having less power) just so it will sound cooler and shoot flames and backfire like every other srt4.

just because you suck at it doesnt make it gay.i dont bash drifting because i suck at it.i seriously doubt you realize what its like to drive a 12.0 car on street tires on a small ass groove that if you get out of you can go into the wall.its not easy and a 12.0 really isnt even that fast. try a 9 sec car and youd shit yourself.i know your just gonna come back with a cool comment about how your bike runs 10 sec stock just like all the bikers do when they cant afford or even build a fast car..its a big fucking difference taking something with 4k pounds and 500hp and going 11 then it is something that has 2 wheels and wheighs 400 pounds with 120 wheel.

A lot of time attack cars will run 10's all day at the 1/4 and have 500+ hp.
I really need to ride in a fast straight line car so I know what all the fuss is about.

buhahahahahaha.
I remember when having a 2 step was cool but now it's played out. I used to have it said up on my old suby and people would love it. I guess it's cool if you have it on an AWD car or supra or something that can actually take advantage of it, but other than that it riced out.

ask alex with the cobra or forrest(his might be alittle different) lol.its gonna be different to ride in it that it is to drive it.awd is alot more controlled all around.not worrying about spinning or going sideways when you bang a gear.

Handheld FTL..
Are there any actual tuning interfaces (IE software for a computer and a cable) for the SRT-4? Get that if there is. Handhelds are retarded if you ask me.. waste of money.

October 19th, 2008, 04:43 AM
Also something to look out for.. HPTuners is supposed to be supporting dodge soon.. So maybe just wait a little longer? I'm sure some people here have HPTuners. If you wait until HPTuners has dodge support (They have been working on it for the past 6 months or so), that would be the absolute best thing possible. HPTuners by far destroys almost all other tuning software.
It shouldn't be too much longer. They are releasing a beta here soon any day now. Just save your money and look into that
