Got re-tuned

I went down to aftermath today because the guy who tuned my car was in town from tampa and i had been having some trouble with the meth so i decided to have him re tune it. So we put it on the rollers and strapped her down............lets just say it makes a little LESS power but the A/F is damn near perfect and the car pulls even harder than it did before :D

I wasnt expecting to put it on the dyno so there is no video........I fail

426-434 rwhp sound about right, But u know what when J&J did mine Juntin put the NOS tune on a Safe tune with the timing and everything yeah he could of gotten another 20-30 rwhp probaly but is it worth it nope, thats why my a\f is fucking perfect through the while powerband.

BWAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! dude was taking my truck to 6k when i told him not to take it past 5k because i float valves past 5k and its a fucking truck motor lol.... he was like "its not making anymore power up top" all confused.... i was like "well no shit i make peak whp @ 3700rpm and peak torquer @ 2000rpm ...... dude is scary, i will never let him touch my vehicles.

thats pretty much all ive ever heard about him.its kinda the reason i diddnt do my car at the dyno day.pulling my motor too far will result in a set of rods flying through your ass.i have heard hes done some cars good and some he hasnt.ive never had him do any of my cars before mainly because he cant.

it only made 470tq i was dissapointed at first... but then i was thinking i really dont have alot in it as far as "go fast mods" 4.5-5 psi and jba catless midpipes thats it! so i guess those are pretty strong #'s all the more reason to throw a ls7 cam and heads on that bitch:D

haha . I am afraid to drive it up. I don't know if it is that easy. I still have the old tune in the car, but the set up and everything is way different. I can go back to the basic start up cals that they give , but they say not to drive on it.. I don't know what to do.

you have a wideband? if so start it up and take it around the block slow.slowly getting faster.if you can get it to 70 with no problems then you should be fine to drive it.

nah man just find out whats rich and lean for your car and take it for a drive.its going to show on the wideband when it goes lean so just let off the gas.its going to show you how far you can take it in the rpms and the mph.just take it easy and you shouldnt have any problems

I look at the AEM program on my lap top all the time and say to myself what in the fuck am I looking at. I should get one of you guys to come over and we can drive around and they can watch the computer while I drive.

thats a pretty good idea.im sure its gonna be pretty messed up do to the cams especially the idle.when ron had the evo finished we drove it around fort myers for a couple hours to get everything broke in when it was untuned.then acouple days later he went up to cft and had it finished
