98 gsxr HELP

a buddy of mine is having bike trouble and we are stumped. his bike has some sort of electrical problem, it was running fine when all of a sudden it completly died. Now there is no power in the console and the only thing that works is the parking light. We have checked the fuses but they where all fine.
The battery is charged and fine.

Any suggestions?

Possible that some of the wires got severed somehow?

Its always a possibility I guess but he was riding when it happened. I dont really know how a wire could have got severed. He didnt drop it or anything.

check the wiring to the stater my honda and my dads busa had that same problem

my dad had an old gsxr, some of the wires got caught up in the tripple trees somehow. probably no help at all =/ good luck

Is the bike stock or did he modify it in any way? I would check around the triple tree like mentioned above and see if something got pinched.

It's modded as in an exhaust and frame sliders. No hardcore modifications.
