Ok I think a few of us are going out to the track tonight. I still have to call and make sure it is open so if anyone already knows that lmk. But if it is open who else is going out tonight?

yeah its open, opens at 5:30. me and my dad and uncle are heading out there. im going to run the cobra my dads gunna run his 67 mustang and my uncles gunna run his c6vette. none of these cars have been down the track so it should be interesting and fun :)!

little update. I ran an 8.85. 06gto ran an 8.7. srt8 charger 8.6. camaro was having lsave problems and wasnt able to shift into third

well, my friends who are consistent (auto) said there was no difference. For me, I was getting kinda mad cuz i would slam second and spin for about ten feet, which i never did before; it was always just a chirp. But I did manage to get my best 60ft ever in my car last night so I can't say it was bad.

Did you run NA or with spray? If you got a good 60ft then sounds like grip is pretty good ill have to head down sometime, ive been dying to get my 60 foot down.

I don't have spray. never have.

I still want to run nitto 555r out there and see what i can 60ft. The camaro I was with has wide mickey thompsan dr's and I think he got a 2.0 or 1.9 60'

i think the track was THE best ever ive ever seen it. although at the same time ive never got there so early before. me and my dad were car numbers 3 and 4 haha and my dad was the first car on the track and his car driving on the surface sounded as if you were stepping on bubble wrap. im PRETTY sure they prep the track every night. cause a few months ago i got there real early and they were spraying down that liquid sticky stuff the whole way down..


in other news i poped the cobras cherry in drag racing and the very first run i got a 8.6 and then later on in the night i got a 8.4 BUT i missed 3rd..

and nick i didnt see any of the cars you mentioned to me, or else i wouldhave said something.. did you see the brand new blue vette being pushed?
