hey guys, I've been trying to keep up on things through the posts, but I've been busy with school:thumbdown:. This coming Friday the 5th and Monday the 8th, I have my finals for Paramedic. Cross my fingers that after I pass, I am DYING to get off road in my (*sigh*) stock rover.

Actually, if anyone is around or heading out Sat the 6th, maybe I could talk myself into heading out for a couple of hours real quick to blow off some steam and meet you all...

You guys have some great rigs and looks like you have a good time when you go wheelin.

Is that a challenge there Chris? We need to set up a little rover vs jeep competition.

Lehigh is fun. I don't know what it is like this time of year (juan does) but last time it had a wide range of difficulty from 2wd fun to stuff only buggies should try. eh I don't know about a set competition...that would make us do stupider shit...Considering neither one of these rides have proper front recovery points and all we have to wheel in is mud, we can't prove anything...now if someone knows a flexy trail or something that would be betterI don't thhink Blazer has a CDL. but he does have SLS. i'm interested to see what differences our rovers have in person

Generally the person with the least to lose is going to win an offroad challenge.

lol yeah you are right. i'm not gonna do anything stupid or risk breaking something big. so I would almost guarentee you I would back out before someone ended up with a rig sunk or rolled.

Blazer, you don't have a CDL in your 03 do you? If you wouldn't mind when we get back in town, i'd like to go for a ride in your rover for a few minutes (on road). I just wanna see what kinda noises and sounds yours makes in comparison with mine.

yeah thats kinda something i would like to avoid also... as far as proper recovery points i'll have my front tow points installed before we go out and i've got a nice rear one too so i really dont mind going through some stuff as long as there's another truck out there so i can get pulled out, the only thing i'm not really game for is deep water...

anyone down for maybe some night time offroading sometime? i've been a couple spots in east bonita at night that are alright.

well thats good about the front points. i dont have any, got a nice rear but thats it.

as for night offroading, been there, done that. not doing it again. definetly not the smartest thing to do.

nope, no CDL in truck. No problem about the ride. I would like to see the same thing as well.

you gotta get the linkage. it's been a life saver for me in the mud. i know i woulda never made it through some stuff without it. you should get ahold of will tillery on the land rover websites, he can get you what you need i would think. are you on discoweb.org yet? i dont remember...

definetly need to be man. most helpful and entertaining rover site. keep stupid questions to a minimum, use the search feature....the guys on there love to eat people alive but they no more about rovers than anyone else
