The best buy would be to run a p28 chipped (or one of the others you can chip) for your setup. check out pherable.net

Emilio Chips Any Obd1 Ecu Plus Auto Convertions For 65. And Gives U A Basemap.

We chip them as well, and will include a basemap for $75.

I would recemmed using Neptune, its a great system, capable of doing everything a Hondata S300 can do and is still in a price range you can afford.

The socketing is easy, the basemap is what counts. We have well over 300 basemaps that have been made/used on the dyno for just about any setup you can think of. Just make sure whoever makes you a basemap knows what they are doing..

So is Fredo's B16 Beastin....? So your back Nando? Heard you were in NYC. We gotta a date up for the hood.

Uhhh, no, Fredo's hatch is a turd from what I hear on the streets. And let me clarify...EMILIO DID NOT TUNE HIS CAR. All he did was give him a B16 basemap with the usual tweaks. His car is by far not upgraded in any way tuning wise.

Yes Juan, I am back from NYC. Got back yesturday. When do you want me to do that hood. Has to be soon because I am heading back to NYC for business and educational perposes within the next month or so. LMK asap please. Thanks!

I would recommend a Sata or devilbiss. They are in the 350-600 area but have great atomization gun. Less material used and wasted. It all depends on how much use you are going to give the gun too. If its just a weekend gun, I would not get such a high price gun.

Oh, and trust me, there are a lot of things that a book will not teach you. Most things in painting are learned hands on in my opinion.

Oh, I did not know that. What kind of clear and base coat have you used?

J240sx
December 21st, 2008, 07:16 PM
I've done alot of rattle can stuff that's actually came out great, including a few sets of rims.* From Stripping-primer-paint-clear.* But not any actual urethane bases or Acrylic Laquer clears for spray guns.

Yea, this is a little different and more detailed. It has a lot to do with prep work more than anything. You can chill around while I work on your hood and that way you can learn some things.
