so I'm thinking of getting lowering springs for my car i have aftermarket shocks and I'm not trying to set the car up for drifting i just want to lower it. so i was thinking on getting Megan springs and i wanna know if any one has used them or know of them. it well drop the front and rear 1.75''

Honestly, if you want good lowering springs, save your money and get H&R and get a good set of struts too. If you leave it on your stock struts, after a lil while, those are gonna blow too.

Ive been wanting to do springs for the longest time but right now I'm just saving money and getting coilovers. I suggest you do the same.

h&r really don't make shit for 240's the have stuff but they don't really mess with them. i know cuz i was looking for some and only found one set from them, but I'm just going to save money and fix the car up a lil more before i really do stuff to it(like maintains and body work). make it look good then lower it and make more hp.

I know at least 20-30 people with K-sports that have had nothing but trouble with them after about a year or so. All of them live in NY or NJ though.. Must be the shitty roads or something but I have heard nothing but horror stories. Most of them went ahead and got JIC coilovers instead.

Here is my buddies Chris Maxima slammed on Ksports... after 5 months, one blew on him.

i have heard that k-sports were good for hondas but thats about it

they made them for the focus for a while and every set broke


so i say getting coilovers for 600 bucks and coilovers for 1300 bucks there will be a noticable difference in handeling

That was not a dick question. I had them on way before the engine went. They are still on with the car sitting in the garage. Alot of the common problems with the K Sports are when people don't know how to tune them rite. They stiffen the dampner so hard and lower the all the way. I know a ton of guys using them to drift, and they have no known issues yet. I didn't get the cheapest set of Ksports either. I just got the Family discount. I will never by the basic stuff. When have you ever seen me use a cheap shitty part on one of my cars? I am in no way trying to Ksports are the best! I am just trying to get Steve a discount . Just so everyone know thought K sport is no longer since the past 6 months the same coil as Megan or D2's. They are made in their own plant now. The altima will be back on the road as soon as I quit being a pussy and can trust a tuner . I am so afraid that when we put it on a dyno the the turner is gonna fuck it up. After the last tuner you would understand.

I've had Tein lowering springs for a bout 1 1/2 years. My stock struts, and rear shocks are fucked. Now I need a better set up. Just save your money, and get full coil overs
