Kind of a waste ... 1/2" hex screws in each knob on the front tire, and 1" snowmobile ice stubs bolted into cut down knobs on the rear tire. Add some threadlocker to the nuts on the snowmobile studs, larger washers on the inside to prevent pull through, and an extra tube cut and placed around the rear tube for protection from the bolt heads. That should give you plenty of snow/ice traction ;]

i knew someone would post tires with bolts in them. much more economical lol....but you gotta admit, it would be fun to right around with treads every once in a while

can those tires you posted ride through freshpowder? or just icey conditions? cuz that tread system is basically designed to drive up and down whereever people can ski

im sure it would do ok but not as well as a tread

They will go through fresh powder ... but I am sure not as well as the treads. It is more for packed snow/ice trails. The treads do look awesome, but I wonder how much of a change there is in riding.

Definitely. If you have ever caught the front of a ski before, you know what will happen lol.
