Porsche Club of America (PCA) Gold Coast Region will be hosting this autocross. I personally have not been to any of their events, however, I have heard good things from all the people that I have talked to who have gone.

How to Register:

or on-site registration with a "late fee" of $10.00.

If you do not drive a Porsche or are a club member, then you are X-Class. Online registration closes February 26th.

Things to Know:
-It is held in a big parking lot.
-Depending on how many cars, you can expect 8-10 runs.
-Registration opens at 7:30 AM EST
-Drivers meeting starts at 9:30 AM EST
-We start running at 10:00 AM EST

I plan on going to this event. It will be an early morning :D since it will be a 1 hour and a half drive there. I told some of the guys (fmr) about this event and everyone seemed interested.

I have posted this 1 month in advance so we can all mark that date down and get things together. The cost is a bit more than GCAC ($10 more), doesn't bother me. Let's go see if is legit! Ofcourse nothing will be like GCAC with so much open space.

I forgot to mention, they do 7 autocrosses a season. They only use 4 of your best times out of the 7. So you really only have to go to 4. They do trophies and a party.

Thats a decent event, its different. It has a lot of sort of "elevation" changes. There are bumps all through out it. they arent too rough but it definitely messes with how you drive the course.

I already took that day off work. All I need to do is register for it.

I am unsure of something. I am buying new tires for the altima before the next GCAC event, should i bring my new tires out there to this event or just kill the rest of mine there? I should be fine to drive back home with them. They are at the wear bars right now.

i think this course is on a more flat area of the parking lot.

when we went brent, they could not use the piece they usually use because of that motorcycle school they were having.

Getting 8 runs on a 50-60 second course is awesome. As for the ride height issues for some people, Steve Kidd runs his GT3 there with no problem. It is a Porsche club event, and they aren't known for their off-roading abilities.

225/60/16 Falken Ziex ZE-512 . Anything should be better than the tires I have on there now, lol. However, I ran into a small problem, I mismanage my money this month so I am down on cash =(. As of now, it looks like I will only be able to afford 2 tires. So, I will replace the 2 front tires since they take the most beating. Then most likely the week afer I will have the cash for the other 2 tires and have all 4 for GCAC.

looks like i will not be making the event. my car is not running very well. i am not buying the ground controls right now. i need to get my exhaust fixed so i can get a tune first. so once i get the exhaust done and the tune i will not have the funds for this event.

that is assuming i even get the tune done before the first. i will hopefully be lucky enough to get the car ready for the gcac event.

Damn, I hope you guys drive well. I will be in Jacksonville that day at an autocross event. I will be moving up to Gainesville soon, so I am trying to compete in their season. Hopefully, I will be successful in STU up there as well. My power mods are on, but I would like to get tuned specifically for STU competition. Glad you guys had fun. I ran at an event up in Jacksonville. I did well, but my brand new XS's did not like the cold weather. I knew they wouldn't, and my driving left about .5 sec out there anyways. I paxed second behind Mike King who is a back2back national champ in STS2 (now STS). But it wasn't his Moton suspension or shaved RE-11s that beat me (also in raw time). That dude is crazy fast. For perspective of his abilities. After his motor went in 2007, he codrove with J Ruggles in the CRX that Darrin had built and deemed not setup well enough to win. Mike King hopped in and won the whole thing. And we know that Darrin is fast.

Wish I could have went to the PCA event too!

i got the jdm style dc sport header with 2.5" collector. and i am putting a muffler in place of the cat to quiet the beast. then i get a tune.

i just received the header and picked up the flange today. i should be done with the exhaust tonight. then i will call emilio to tune it.
