Need to narrow the "assload of noises" down a little bit and its almost impossible to tell over the internet, See if one of the local 240 guys can meet with you can take a look.

Definitely sounds like the flux capacitor.

I always found the easiest way to find out a sound is just to keep driving till it completely breaks. Then there is no guessing required.

we woulden't be dicks if he gave us something more than "an assload of noises" to diagnose the problem. eveyrones being helpful, maybe it was the blinker fluid OR the piston return springs. SO ONWARD WITH THE DIAGNOSIS DOCTORS

The roller rocker in the transmission is bent? That's my new guess. Well that and it still being a Nissan.

Honestly, with the info given all we know is that there is a 240 with "an assload of noise", and most of it seems to be coming from the trans. That's it. Igor, I'm not trying to be a dick but stupid posts get stupid replies...especially from the people here. Have you not seen what happens to the noob's who mess up the intro? Look, as a Nissan and S chassis owner I'd to help this guy out but without good info that's kinda hard.
