lol i wouldn't buy that thing. 2 hookers or juans jetski sound better to me. i mean the rover doesnt look in bad condition from the pics, but the exterior means nothing. you gotta look at the motor and the drivetrain to see how many leaks and where are they coming from. a little oil from the motor is normal, but if the diffs, tranny, and t-case are leaking thats too much to deal with on one truck.

people who buy rovers like that tend to be a glutton for punishment, but the rovers always get turned into trail rigs. i don't have the money, time or patience to deal with an older high mileage one.

um gas sucks, maintenance isn't bad as long as you keep up with it and the previous owner did too. but knowing how most haitians get ahold of a D1 and run up the miles on them like that, i wouldn't buy it.

the only older rover i'd buy would be something like a series rover or an RRC.

I owned a 95 disco for a short bit of time, and no I wouldn't buy that, fuck $300 water pumps and $600 radiators.

The only rover I will ever buy again will be in Europe whenever I go back. Either a disco 300tdi or an RR tdi.

Well, an old-school aluminum tub ride would be awesome for a play toy, but that's not what I'm looking for anyway. - Not really looking anyhow, but since the wifey is off her birth control I know I will someday need to put her into something other than the danger ranger and she doesn't want to deal (daily) with strapping a kid in the seat from the nerf bars on my 'burban(good, it will be there when I get home).

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably stick with either a TL(not the new body with the Leno chin bumper) or a G8 GXP.
