"And just to keep it X related.. the beach was completely flooded on labor day, there were about 10 trucks chilling on the one tiny bit that wasnt flooded waiting to see if anyone could make it through the water, I gladly plowed through!" ^maybe because it was salt water?

i still wouldn't wanna try it. there is now way you'll ever get into every nook and cranny that the salt got into if you're powering through it like that.

They salt the roads up north...I don't see the big deal.

+ I am sure he doesnt plan on keeping the X for long.. its probably a lease, so it'll be whoever buys the "Certified Nissan" from wherever he trades it in that will have to deal with it.

duh. its already got some rust (not in any critical places) and its only 5 years old. i'd personally rather not drive through saltwater to make it rust out any faster.
