Well here are all four of my passes from today ... I am pretty happy that an auto ls1 with a lid, and slp dual-dual catback pulled these numbers. My car shifts right at the finish line, and I have done zero of the many free mods available. I am thinking with a little tinkering I could run a 8.4 on a basically stock car. The weather was around 76-79 with humidity around 50%. The DA was around 1,100ft.
First pass was from 800rpm. Second pass was also from 800rpm, but I forgot to turn off traction control . Third pass was from 1000rpm. Last pass was from 1200rpm.

Yea that was definaltey one of the more spectacular wrecks I've seen live, goof to see the driver hop right out once the car settled, though I'm sure he's sick to his stomach.
Got a few nice vids of Forrest ripping away, few of Limetime and titter, styles and others so I'll post those up as soon as I can. The day was decent but damn hot, too many breakages on the track to slow things down too. My car ran 'ok', my 60's were good but it looks like my tranny is ready to quit on me, out of 3 runs I was only able to find 2nd once, and even that was a fight, as was 3rd and I couldn't even hit 4th lol.. still mamaged a 1.64 60' and ran a 7.31 @ 95.66 coasting arcross the finish. Sucks cause had I managed to hit the gears without such a let off I'm sure it was a 7.20 in the makings. Oh well.. here goes another $1500!

Good job on the 60'. your car has a 6sec pass in it for sure, you just have to be able to hit those shifts. Put a 28" tall slick on and you will make it through the traps in 3rd gear. You could make it even on a 26 but you will be tapping the limiter right at the traps.

Good stuff. I dont think Dave gives that car as much credit as it is capable of. what was the bottle pressure and how much of a shot was being ran today?

Figured I would post up these f'n awesome times I pulled today.
First pass - Launched it awesome, spun out the whole, hit the limiter, spun grabbing second, hit the limiter spun slightly grabbing third... blasting to a 8.42@88.6 (8.42@88.6) on a 2.22 60'
Second pass - even better launch, car starts to roll foward, revs up adn go es nowhere to a record breaking 2.41 60', started to slip in higher rpms in first, grab second, slightly spun, grabbed third and rocked the house with a 8.64@89.98 (8.64@89.98)
On a serious note though. on teh 1-2 shift, clutch had no pressure until half way engaged. 2-3 shifts was about 3/4 way in until I had pressure in teh clutch, after the traps, i had ot put the clutch almost all the way down before pressure was felt. Cory was speaking of something about dirty fluid, so I am going to check that out, but anymore suggestions woul dbe greatly appreciated. IMO - Luk Pro Gold clutch is garbage, I dont like the way it felt at all. IDK if tha tis because of the slave issue or not, but only time will tell. I may take it back out if we get some nice weather again, but i highly doubt it until these issue's are addressed.

Looking at the video (which will be posted soon) I don't think I quite got the L/F tire all the way up, close none the less. It's funny cause I'll occasionally have an issue hitting 2nd once in a blue moon but today, of ALL DAYS... wasn't happening!

Chris are you running an '02+ slave? When I installed the Textrallia I had very little clutch pressue for a while. Gave it a good bleed and vacuumed the resorvoir, feels alot better and hasn't 'hung' the peddle on me like it used to do since swapping to the new slave. Might be worth a try..

I believe its an 01 slave. Remeber I mentioned something about it doing it the night we were on the highway too. I may have to try that out as well.

trueblue was out there. I don't think he had any issues with the 60'(minus being very close to carnage) but I'll let him post up his numbers.
A clutch and an input shaft and I think he'll be making some KOTS call-outs.
