I don't know how many non-autocorssers stray into this area and check out these threads, but just in case, this is what our venue looks like from outside the car..

You might want to come out to the school. (on the far side of the track on Saturday) You will get lots of seat time. You still get to run the "Test and Tune" course the second half of the day, so it's a win-win.

Just come out saturday and do the novice school. You can ride with an instructor and pick up the pace as you get used to it.

You don't have to be an expert to have fun at this.;)

I'm gonna try to pick up something from the lot so I can auto x tomorrow. I've really never really auto x'd a car with less than 300hp (crank) and tires smaller than 225 summers so I'm looking forward to slowing things down and concentrate on setting up lines and maintaining speed.

I dunno about that, I was out of it one run yesterday and nailed 3 cones after I got out of the box. I think Michael was honking at someone not picking up a cone and it threw me off. :D

The wife picked up a cone on her last run. (74.4?? +1) IIRC. Her second fastest run was still good enough for the fastest HSN and HS time, but she is still not happy. :o

I secured first in BSP before I did my last run and decided to see if I could push it a little....

Got too hot in the first slalom and that killed my chances of getting below my 67.9, ...so I decided to have some fun and hang the back out for the second half of the track. I was trying to fit my Z through the finish line sideways, but third gear didn't have enough torque to keep the @$$ out the whole time and she tucked in just before the finish. (I just knew she would fit too)

Oh well, it was fun anyway.

once i got in the jews teg for my last 2 runs is when i started to put down some time. the bimmer for a stock car was pretty impressive i have to say.

the teg with kw's is awesome. my first run was a 69.1 and then my last run was a 68.1. the car had more in it then that. that thing is on rails!!!!

Billy, you were no joke in that car! I got to watch your last run, and one in the 325i. I really thought that I was not going to wake up and drive well, but I went twi cars after my brother on my third run, and it helped push me. I hope to get the car tuned soon, and maybe I will get the other setup issues taken care of too. My last run should have gotten me into the high 65s, as I finally did the turnaround right. But I only feel like I was a few tenths off.

John, the dramatic finish was entertaining. On two of the previous runs, I thought your car's back end was pretty loose. I guess that you were right on its edge.

Have they not posted the PAX? I got the print out afterwards. Billy finished 9th behing J Ruggles, and Dave, you were 28th but with the DSP PAX. With STS, you would have finished 16th. Of course, my brother would have bumped you to 17th, if he would have been able to use STU PAX. I had fun, but was too tired to get too excited.
