Thinking about going to Runday Sunday on the 26th with my 96.:thumbup:
Track prep is usually much better than shitty ass thursday nights and tech is usually pretty relaxed. Just make sure you have a helmet and if your running 11.49 or better make sure you atleast have a long sleeve shirt and pants.

Thursdays are filled with about 100 FWD cars on street tires that ruin the track and a few high hp slick cars. They usually only prep at the beginning of the night and dust it off once in the middle of the event.

On Sundays, there is always WAY to many cars, but a large percentage are slick tire cars and they usually prep the track pretty good for the high HP cars.


The other plus is they are pretty relaxed with tech on Sunday. There are a lot of 10, 9, and 8 second cars there. On thursdays, the average time is probably a mid mid 12 (maybe), so a low 10 second car kind of sticks out a little and they better have thier safety equipment on point.

+Juan. Street tires lift the VHT off the track, and throw down dirt in its place. It is a waste of money to keep prepping the track on Thursdays, when the next group of FWD warriors fucks it all up again.

Hell from my Thursday experiences, which used to be quite a bit ... I have seen idiots riding through the water box, a/c leaking all over the track, people who can't stage, and the best was probably a truck that dumped about 30lbs of rocks down the track :ugh2:

It is the same at a Friday night Immokalee T&T. Runday Sunday will have fast cars that need prep.

I go when they open than it's nicely prepped, but yeah towards the end of the night it turns into shit lol. I was there 2 weeks ago on Thursday and only 9 or 10 cars were running, I guess with ecomony going down people can't afford gas anymore, plus a lot of us lose our jobs.

Its really not to big of a jump. If the track is prepped well I'll usually launch at 6K with a best 60ft of 1.43. My limiter is only set at 6500, so we'll see:ugh2:
