anyone saw a bunch of cop cars lined up and the cops setting up a bunch of cones? they autocrossing or doing something else?

O they are at that empty airport near Lehigh Senior on Gunnery

thats the autocross course...probably just some sort of driving training if i had to guess.

They do traing on how to take down cars the PIT move, i sat there one day and say a new girl fuck up a car bad it funny every month they do it for a couple of days

yeah jeff is right. they do training out there like once a month.

they even stopped by our autox for help to design a better driving course.

Actually they will chase it. They are going ape shit crazy chasing bikes now. The reason people used to get away was due to the fact they couldn't chase unless there was a violent felony committed. Now it is up to the officers discretion.

Not to mention, most of our cops aren't stupid towelheads... They would of rammed that car when it tried to run.

Also, it looked like they were busting a street racing scene, so they let one get away, and ticket the other 30 or so cars they've got lined up.

The cars were out there for a 'citizens police academy'... how do I know, I was out there tearing it up this past Sat. (For anyone that is interested, you can do them with cape or ft myers, and its like a 10 week thing... free to you)

It was setup as the test that all officers have to pass every two years (backing up, slalom, and emergency maneuvers), and then they have an Autox course that they have to complete w/o hitting any cones.

The majority of the people out there were 50+, and during the actual course, there is an instructor in a lead car, and one of the people in the next car chasing them. This old lady was tearing it up and caught up and bumped the instructor.

I was on the instructors ass the whole time and he was taking out cones left and right.. as did I when I was sliding sideways at one point. I think I was 2nd in the overall time by .13 of a second(not counting cones).

yup... it was. Other than the sunburn, it was a blast.
