I have a new set of wheels going on my car without TPMS and i am gonna have to turn off the warning light.

So if anyone here has VAG-COM and can help me out I'd really appreciate it.

you may just have to go to VAP motoroworks and ask them to do it. i know one of the vdub guys has vag-com but i dont think his version is compatible with mkv's

What type of tmps sensor is it, direct or indirect? I thought it was direct, i.e the sensor is part of the valve stem. If so, why not just swap the sensors over??

cos the wheels i got already have the tires mounted and balanced. And getting the tires pulled off, TPMS installed and then re-mounted and balanced would be a headache and probably more money than i have handy.
