Hey guys I need someone who can replace the soft top on a BMW E46 M3.

Honestly $1000 probably isn't a bad deal. The tops I've worked on have been a pain in the ass. I can imagine how bad a newer bimmer would be. I'd love to offer to do it, but I'm too scared that I'd fuck something up in a car that nice. If someone needs their Le Baron top replaced, I'd be all over it, haha.
