Is nitrous legal in Florida?

by legal so you mean, can you install a nitrous kit on your car? or can you have a fully armed nitrous kit and use it on public streets?

if your question is the latter, then hell no, nowhere can you do that

however, you can have a nitrous kit in your car as long as the bottle isnt open, hell they used to sell nitrous at the mitsubishi dealership so its legal, as long as youre not using it while riding on 41 (which ive seen) and keeping it on the track

so if i get pulled over and i have the bottle in the car, but i dont have the lines pluged into it. Or i have the lines plugged into it and not the nozzle its legal but as soon as I.... god thats not cool.....

im thinking about it. I think im going to take out the back bench seat and make a panel flush with the rear deck and have 3 sub woofers facing up out of the floor, and i might hide the nitrous under there..... i dunno yet. The money is trickling in so......

It does not matter if the bottle is open or closed, if the line is physically connected to the jet and the bottle it is illegal.

No idea on the fine but if you are pulled for anything and they have reason to search the car and find it you will be busted for it.

Hmmm, If i was to install nitrous in my car, I would use small bottles, and probably hide them inside my door panels or something. I would put them somewhere thats not easy to spot, also keeps that whole sleeper look... :whoknows:

hmm chris.... lets see here...... to make the comment you just did you probably need to drive a car that is actually faster than mine by more than front fender.... When we have raced you win usually by a fender... so basically you just made fun of your self, because everyone else thinks that your car is fast. When in fact it can barely pull off a win against a stock blazer even w/ chip, intake, short shifter, and exhaust...... sad..... :wave:

P.S. You can talk shit when you get your new car this friday... but i want to take the first ride.

Wheel well em. Extend the upper portion of the wheel wells, (works better on SUV's) and hide 1-2 bottles of 25 shots in each, or you can Airbag em. Put em where ur passenger airbags are, cuts down on the wiring, but remote bottle openers would be best here. :thumbsup: In any case, just pop em in, and when a cop rolls up, test em. :wink: 1.

ya ive been pulled over and the cops have seen the bottle open and never said anything to me. Most cops dont really know the law about nitrous so im tell them its legal and they believe me.

I guess they think my car is to slow to care about anyway. oh well.

if either you have the bottle and all of the lines hooked to the car but only the bottle isn't hooked...... yup your still fucked. you can't even have a bottle with anything in it in your car in all 50 states
