Obsidian SG-One '67 Mustang

Has anyone seen or heard about this thing? They call it the Obsidian SG-One.....twin supercharged 800hp on pump gas only one that will ever be made and they are auctioning it off starting the bidding at 1.3 million :eek:

Interior = i wouldn't be caught dead in.

Overall design = not too bad :thumbup:

Powerplant = holy heron in hell

Rear diff setup = pretty godamn legit (drag guys, is that what ''tubbed'' looks like?)

kinda the same desing but a tubbed job is taking out fenders inside walls and fitting huge asss slicks in a little compartment, heres the pic of the last mustang we "tubbed" lol

I've got the entire Hot Rod article on it from a few months back. The trans controller crapped out and had to be completely replaced on site during the test run, the intercoolers worked about as well as you would expect air-to-air coolers to work when mounted direct on/above a hot engine; In the end, the only thing they managed to do was spit coolant.

It is obviously a killer built car and has the potential, just some teething issues during the shake-down/testing. - A paddle shifted TKO600 is kinda cool, IMO.


Not really "tubbed" at all. Just mini tubs to clear a buit more meat. Here's tubbed:

I actually have room to spare. I can roll my head around w/ the helmet on and no kneck brace and can't contact any of the bars. When we got the car it was another story.

looks great. my only compaint is the fact that they used the S197 headlights, i would have rather seen them used original 67 stang headlights. but for the money....no thanks.

I think the whole 1.3 milliion is just mostly buying the exclusiveness but I agree that it isn't worth the price
