I got my car used. and its out of warranty. but there is a factory recall on the rear end clicking. and its exactly what mine does. its just one or 2 slight clicks when you take off slowly.

my question is , do i just take it to nissan and tell them i need the recall work done on my car? Do i get charged for it being a recall or no?

its #12 on here

For a recall I thought it was covered whether you're under warranty or not. I'm sure you could ask them before they did anything.

It should be of no cost, otherwise they wouldn't announce it.. they'd just let you bring it in if it were making noises and you were under warranty.

It will be covered but don't take it to Sutherlin or they will try to charge you. Go to Harbor Nissan and talk to Ryan. He'll get you squared away. I had the same issue and had it corrected for free due to recall.

thats not true they can charge you for it.depending on the dealer and the length of time the recall has been out you can be charged.do what they suggested though and go somewhere that people know are honest

I've never heard of having to pay for a recall. Even on cars that are WAY older than 6 years in this case.

Just call the dealer beforehand and check if you have to pay. If you don't agree, see if you can't contact corporate Nissan and find out if you should have to pay or not.
