This is the old clutch. An ACT 6 puck unsprung with between 35-40k miles.

Would've lasted another 10-15k like that. That's why I love ACT.
That's what happens when you slip the clutch a lot. Especially when you are doing a 20-30mph roll launch and get a jump on a car that would otherwise put a jump on you (Titter) hee hee hee!
Titter of course gained some of the ground back every shift since I'm slow.
But Redline MT90 should help the synchros in the tranny for better shifting. It feels beautiful so far. Much better than that Synchromesh stuff.

Borrow maybe. This is part of the trophy wall... plus if I screw up the new clutch (again) I have to put this back in until I can save for yet another new one.

That's a chair. The sheets, blankets, and cover of the bed are Ocelot print.

The car mid surgery. It wasn't fun doing it in a parking lot... but I had to do what I had to do.

Getting ready to put the motor in. Juicing up for the event.
http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k102/Super_Shiloh/DSC02911.jpg
Motor in, now the wiring harness is laid on top and ready to put back into place.
http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k102/Super_Shiloh/DSC02902.jpg
Motor and tranny in. Shot of drivers side axle seal. Putting this in won't be hard.

My reflection in the car. I'm in pain.
http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k102/Super_Shiloh/DSC02904.jpg
You can see here the front motor mount. Anyone that is familiar will notice that something is missing from the picture... the clutch slave. I had to take it back out, put the clutch slave in first, and then the motor mount went back in.

Wiring harness in place and new OEM plug wires. They are skinny, but if I told you what they were capable of you'd never believe me. Not a fun jigsaw puzzle this one.

Drivers side axle, hub, upper arm, lower arm, all together and ready to go in.

LOL true
Well I should be out this next coming Wednesday, definitely if I get the job I was just interviewed for, which so far looks very promising.
So the question is, Frank, did you read your PM? I need some welding done if you can and it will enable those pretty injectors above to be used to a much more full potential.

Your car surprised me  Normally by 90 I go flying by whoever I was racing, I just couldn't get around you. I think the closest I got was your rear bumper.
The dig though ... I think I got away pretty good on that one lol.

Yeah I'm suck at digs regardless of tires, but my hard ass Nexen $50 tires don't help. You launch pretty decent for an auto.
I shall surprise you in the future I think unless you do some upgrades of your own.

Need to move. Sitting at the realtors office right now. Once I move I will have a garage ... then I can mod. I will have a high stall soon... in the 4k range. With a good tire, I should get out

The longest part of the swap was waiting for the rain.
It hadn't rained for months and then the day I started the swap over, it rained every day for hours on end. Some days it rained entirely with a few fifteen to twenty minute breaks.
Very frustrating and I used a lot of cleaner and such to prevent rust. I had everything wrapped in plastic sheeting.

Do you have a kit already ready to be installed?
