Guy wants to dtrade my civic for an srt4 neon. It does have a rebuilt title, does that make any real difference?? It still seems a little cheap but hell I trade my civic for a srt all day. I figure even if it needs some love its still worth the trade. What you guys think.

well dont know if its just me or not but the link dont work .
with the rebuilt title , i would want as much info as possible to why its like that . be it car accident or flood damage, or what ever. and it loses re sale value . if it were me id pay a garage to put it on a lift and go thru it .

i dont think you ll have any problems with insurance or regs. i know in ny if your car is totaled or salvage and you repair it has to go thru a dot inspection . but it sounds like it has been on the road and fixed for awhile so you should be good
tryed again link worked , hell yeah do it especially with those low miles . you would be stealing it.

a bunch of people on here know him but not as michael kelly everyone knows him as "coco". the night he brought it out and i raced him i put like 3 buses on it with a boost leak dropping down to like 12 pounds. its so fucked up lmao.

normally when mike says something is fucked i tell him to shut up but hes 100% right about this one.the guy says he did it all at home and they wouldnt total a 04 with 38k miles for a bumper and a intercooler.the motor is no big deal you can build a badass one cheap as hell but the car probably doesnt drive straight.id keep the hatch and look for something better
to answer your question though your resale would be kinda shitty and you would have problems getting insurance if the car wasnt re-certified after being rebuilt

ok then i knew something was fishy. I wasnt worried about motor and all that I can fix that. But if it was hit a little harder than he says and shits bent up then yeah dont want that.If i did it I was gonna pull bumper and inspect myself. Well thanks for the heads up guys guess ill just keep the civic. Just kinda growing old of civic as everyone has them know and I want to boost it but who doesnt do that. When I first got it there were a handful or so with civic now its 1 in 2 puerto ricans and a few others so kinda looking to get into a new car. O well

I wouldn't discount the car completely based on what people are saying here. The car does have a salvage title and he did buy it cheap. It had a couple issues when he first got it, he replaced the clutch and flywheel, a couple other things (not really sure). I'm guessing he raced slow4door before he fixed it. I've ridden in it, it's definitely fast and didn't have any apparent problems. I'm certainly not trying to vouch for the car, but it is local and if you're interested it might be worth checking out.

I go back to what we've all heard a thousand times...
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
All I'm saying is that I'd look into it REAL CLOSELY before doing anything.

if i go look at this car would any srt4 owners be willing to come with me so I have a straight car to compare to.
Also juan if possible I would want to come throw this car on alignment rack and have a look at it. I will pay..

yeah stay away from that car josh... before that kid got it, it was in a nasty accident where the car went over a drain pipe and the passenger undercarriage got destroyed, the bumper, core support, intercooler, lower motor mount, axel and control arm were all ripped outta the car on the passenger side.... ive seen the car drive down the road and it "crab walks", as in when it was fixed it still has a bent subframe and causes it to not track straight.... if it was me i wouldnt do it.... just given u a heads up josh
i didnt know anything about the crash, but that sounds real bad man
the cars gunna be a money pit seriously stay away from it
