thats about right on the national average

It's 5 years old depending on in service date, it should be at 60k, I wouldn't own a car that far above the miles it should be at. That's just me though.

15k is the new national average, its only a couple thoudand off right now.from the looks of it the car is very clean and well kept.i wouldnt be too scared of a 70k mile ls1 at all.they seem to do very well when taken care of

ive got an 04 with 62k and carfax showed one driver drove alot .. so over 78 means they drove ALOT

I bought my 04 Ram with 75k on it in 2007. It was one owner, who traded it in on a GTO ironically. The owners manual had his writing noting every service. He was an older guy, and just did a lot of highway driving ... since then it is now at 111k, and still runs flawless. I also did a lot of highway driving in it.

High mileage isn't always a bad thing. I would much rather have a car with 70k that is bone stock, and saw nothing but highway mileage, than a car with 20k that was beat on quite a bit during city driving. Low mileage cars can be deceiving.

As far as LS1's and high mileage goes ... Styles has almost 180k on his ... and it was nearly perfect when it was taken apart. The only reason it was looked at was due to his cam install.

i agree with titter. and my truck has 131k miles and it's an 03. it's just alot of highway mileage to alva. the car looks super clean i'd say go for it.

Also I would try to talk them down to about 10k ... see if they will take it. We talked about it before ... a 10k financed loan with good credit will have a nice low monthly payment. Not to mention whatever you sell your car for, put down on the loan, and you will finance less, and pay less monthly. The loan to value ratio will look very good on a car that still books for almost 15, and you are financing 9-10k.
