bridgstone makes good ones, it all depends on what you are looking for out of the tires? do you like doing alot of track work and autox? or is it more of a once a month thing? you also need to think about florida weather. sticky rubber that works well with autox and the likes does not do well in the rain. plus you have the added beenafit of more expensive sticky rubber = less tread time and more tires you will go through. on top of that if you dont have a suspension to compliment the tire choice you are throwing money away. not only because of the tires but you can end up tearing endlinks apart, and blowing shocks because a stock suspension will not handle sticky rubber.

Which potenza's? There are several diferant models that range from mild to agressive. That price seems mighty stiff to me.

Valid points... the track work for us is random. May be a few times a month, then not for a while. But we do like the way they handle, nice! Hmm we did get 28,000 miles on this set, not too bad. Ah well.. just curious what others thought.

BTW, sharp subaru! i want one really bad.. but my wife is not a fan. She says they are too "boy racer-ish" ill have to show her a photo of yours, its clean looking.

They are the RE050A. I priced them out online.. and by the time i get them shipped to me then mounted/balanced its close in price. So while i had it there for an oil change, i thought why the hell not, you know. One less thing to worry about while we are moving and stuff. PLUS... with stupid north carolina state inspection, they wouldnt be able to service the car because according to them the tread was getting to the state limit on depth. There is still solid tread left on them too.

<-- drove around without doors, mirrors etc. Cops just stare.

Im a Goodyear guy, but at my last shop we vendored the shit outta Bridgestone, not too familar with the reo50a, but I know the reo50, and they seemed like a very decent tire, never had any come back with complaints.

And good choice having it done inhouse, thats the kinda shit that helps our economy.

Must have thought you were cute. :rofl1:

I'm assuming they did a free* alignment check as well right, did you actually have the alignment done? And did you get any type of road hazzard policy?

nope no hazzard policy. And no alignment, the last set wore perfect. and she dont pull at all, drives nice, true and straight

those bridgestones are excellent..but tire life is poor. i think the tread wear is 140. i go through a lot of tires. im a bfg guy very solid tire.

i have reo's on my car, awesome track tire.....horrid daily driver. tred life is not long extreemly stiff walls.... and will easly break oem suspension parts.

let me rephrase that, they will easly break the parts if you push the tires to there limits. and the stiff walls means i feel a bb on the road.
