I was at the Naples meet on Friday. And a guy named AJ comes up to me and says would you like to buy my turbonetics single turbo kit off me for three grand Installed.
So i walk over and look at the kit its got a upgraded bov and wg both were Tial.
And had a turbo XS intercooler and ECU.
Then he offers me his ACT clutch for and extra 200 bucks. I cant remember which one off the top of my head.
So he says he has a performance shop somewhere in Fort Myers that just opened. I think he said it was called Performance Factory. He says he used to work at forged performance in Orlando.
I did some Research on My350z.com and he had some good work and some work that was constantly breaking but he did always fix everything for free.
Any opinions or suggestions?
Or heard of him or his shop.

From what you told us that night, the turbo throws down hard. Seems pretty legit from what you said at the meet on Friday.

yeah he said it had the software. And he said he can tune it as well. But he said if we could get on a dyno it would be alot better. i believe he said it was a t3/t4 60trim? dont quote me on that

Yes, I have the same kit. His name is Jeremy and he used to work at performance factory in Orlando, not forged performance. Anyways, he is a cool guy and 3k installed is a pretty good deal. Its a decent kit for a stock motor, and as long as you get it tuned it will be fine.

If you are talking about AJ the guy in the beat up Z that has the bronze wheel's do yourself a favor and Don't buy that kit off him. He has abused the shit out of that thing for years now. He had the turbonetics kit from when it first came out and he drifts his car alot. He's had probably replaced the turbo 3 times by now since that thing fails so bad. Also he used to be the mechanic at Performance Factory under Jeremy Tibbs. Now Jeremy is working for Tom aka Coach at Ultimate Perfomance in Ft Myers off Daniels and Treeline. Not sure if AJ is working for him also since they are a new shop and I'm sure they don't have a ton of business yet to have an extra guy there.
Do youself a favor going cheap with boost is asking for problems. Do it right the first time and you'll be good to go. And no you don't need a built motor to do it right, just the right components and a good tune. I have over 15k miles on my turbo and I'm stock blocked with no issues at all. Not even a check engine light.

Trust me you won't be disapointed by the PowerLab kit at all. If you want to check it out in person let me know I work in naples and only been to the naples meet once but I'd make a trip for you to check it out. I think I'm the only person in Cape/Ft myers with it since I have yet to see anyone else with it around here.
