justin at j and j did mine and its been flawless. i had jeremy tune mine intialy and he did very good as well. for me it just came down to availability. justin is local and can get you in pretty much whenever if something needs to be checked. when i had jeremys tune i had to wait sometimes months before he could look at it. i know he tries to get down here monthly but it doesnt always work that way and i just wasnt up for driving my car for months on end when it had an issue. then when he was here there were 30 people who wanted him to work on their car and id be there til 2 and 3 in the am sometimes. so i would recommend justin personaly.

I want to see how his numbers stack up against the ls1 turbo goat. Not a fan of maggies at all.

IMO maggies are the best form of FI for lsx. The tq curve is so sexy on them.

It might have a nice torque curve and a decent power improvement, but there are many setups that are more efficient and make more power.

Keep in mind that the magnacharger is based on the same eaton M112 thats on the 03-04 Cobra and the lightnings. They can make pretty good power with a lot of torque, but they have thier limitations.
Spin them too hard and all they build is heat (hence the name HEATON:ugh2:).

It's one thing if you already have a car with an eaton, but I would much rather spend the money on a big centri blower if I was doing an install on an N/A car. Now if an intercooled KB or whiple kit was available (mass produced, not one off), I'd have to say twin screw all the way on a street car.

I respect your opinion but i disagree

Although I probably dissagree with your oppinion too:tongue:

Speaking of heaton ... ZR1's are having heat soak issues with the Eaton's on them. Go figure.

BUT the ZR1 eaton TVS 2300 is MILES ahead of the M112.

Amy Positive Displacement blower is going to heatsoak. Its just the nature of the beast.

There is a heavy 03 Cobra vert thet has a new style Eaton TVS custom fitted to it running well into the 10s. It was at he lat DH event.

I will be completely honest when I say, I know nothing about blowers past the basic idea of how the different types work lol. I am sure you could school me on it all.

luckily they make the tvs 1900 and 2300 for the goats ;-) id do one in a second. especially on that heavy ass car.

I agree with you 100%, but a TVS maggie or a 122 will make more than enough power to blow the stock block. That is what I ment. If we are talking built blocks, then I would choose a twin screw (which btw Whipple is building a kit now for lsx.) As fas as centrifi blowers and turbos go, Yes I realize they make more power, but a roots type or screw blower can still make more than enough power.

Here is a link to some info about the Whipple. BTW those numbers are on a mustang dyno.

Yea i saw that 03 vert as well there, it rode out! Although, I'd prolly go with Procharger D1 if i ever supercharged my car.. I think they are more efficient than the eatons, and they have the self contained oil system.
