Just wanting to see if anyone can give me some hindsight....

Whenever I push in the clutch if my car is in first gear and only going like 10 mph or less (example would be heavy traffic driving) I get this like, locking sound from the rear of my car, I don't really know what it is - I've tried looking at the driveshaft and where the differential is at but I see nothing, and I can't pinpoint it because it only happens when I'm driving....anyone else had this problem in the past?

What do you mean a locking sound? Like locking a door (clunk kind of sound)? Or locking like tires locking (and chirping/skidding/welded diff sound)?

Really don't have much of a clue, but is there any kind of feeling in the pedal or response from the motor thats in sync with the sound?

I can kinda feel it from the pedal, but you can really hear it like, well, if the windows are up, a/c on, and music turned down so two people could conversate, you could hear it and be like wtf was that?

pdexta, it's more along the lines of a locking door type sound, but more of like a clunk clunk sound and not a ch ch sound, if that makes any sense...lol....and the clunk clunk is like the best way to explain it, it doesn't sound like the car is going to fall apart, just a wierd clunk clunk sound from the back

maybe your gears are worn a bit and have too much play

Change the fluid, my car did the same thing when I got it. The additive you add to the gear oil eventually breaks down.
