ill probably borrow a car for the first round, buttt im gonna try to run the prepared class with the 240 (i cant run anything else unfortunatly)... idk what prepared class its in though. does it follow the stock classes? if so it would be G prepared...
Billy
December 31st, 2009, 03:32 PM
if it has a motor swap that puts you in a modified class not prepared.

yeah probably EM. technically gutted cars can't run SM, but I do. if you run SM nobody will bother you. it'll be you, me and briton - fmr family.

its basically completely stripped, full cage, motor swapped, full suspension (not yet but it will be), lightweight body parts, ect. sooo if theyll let me run in modified that would be great  maybe ill leave my carpet in just to throw them off...
side note: anybody gonna do any time attack this year? 2010 modified RWD class in Redline time attack and maybe NASA TT is gonna be one of my main focuses i think.

I don't know the chassis maker but it has a suzuki 650 single cylinder and full slicks. I'm thinking of stretching the frame to put the motor behind me rather than beside me.

Its hard on an EF. I got 3 on there right now, motherfucker aint moving. But I know how the jackasses like to put as much muscle as possible in jiggling the battery.

My very first FTD!!!:redspotd (test and tune)
It was very cold and very wet (very low turnout too). I couldn't get under a 41.1 in my Z. But I drove a bone stock Mini Cooper S on brand new all-season tires to a 36.11 FTD and backed it up with a couple 36.2's.:eek
Craig let me run the Z06. It was a handful in the wet, but I mustered a 37.7. (he put down a 36.5)
My just-about-done Kumho XS's are bad in the cold and bad in the wet, but they were usless when cold and wet.:frown (-3 degrees camber wasn't helping either)

^ Thats awesome.
I was talking to Billy about coming out since it was a novice day, but I'm broke as a joke and my tires are absolutely trashed, and given my clutch is on its last legs. :( Hoping and aiming for next month.

Man i got everything ready this morning and just got out of the driveway and stalled. No start, and pushed it back in the driveway.
About an hour into checking basics and testing, found the dist. rotor self destructed. No biggy I have spare parts. Took them both apart and found that the guts in both where done. Finally got it running about an hour ago. Sucked so bad.
