Looking to Pay Someone to Install Subs/amp

Ok, so I need to get 2 10's and an amp mounted into the wifes rx8. I had an appointment to have best buy do it but after 2 1/2 hours of waiting and they hadn't started I bitched out the manager and had the wife leave.

I'd rather pay someone local to do it, I have everything necessary to install, the subs are already mounted in the box so basically just need to run the wire to the battery and head unit.

Looking to get done asap.

Stock headunit, is RCA and RC converter the same thing(if so then yes)? It's a simple sound system and has a 8 gauge wire kit with fuse(bought as a set) and all necessary wiring. This was hooked up in the TL before and when I upgraded to my JL setup I just took everything out and put a 4 gauge kit in mine.

oh fuck. stock headunit , nevermind. i was gonna say , if its a aftermarket headunit , i can help you out one day and we can get it done in 1 hour , 2 hours tops... but alot of stock headunits require the little box , with the pre-outs for RCA's...and i dont touch that stuff.lol.

i think "96ekhatch" is good wit sound systems if im not mistaken

The guys at best buy said I just need to get their RC converter to do it, i'm just pissed at them and don't want to give them my business. I'll toss cash at someone to do this so hook it up!

eh... i work at best buy:( which store did you go to... i could get fired for doing it myself but i know my buddy will do it for you if you want.. he lives on 41 near sixmile area call me he always is looking for more money pm me if interested. he hooked up my whole aftermarket system and my buddies 10's to stock headunit.. but yes you will need that converter

I went to the best buy on 41 just north of paige field. I've dealt with Angel the last 3 times and had no problems and they did great work but this time really irritated me. They gave all their attention to some truck because it was a bigger order rather than even giving equal attention to a multiple return customer. It just wasn't good business.

I'm a Mobile Electronics Installer, I'm in the same bind though. I can lose my job for doing it on the side. The box you need is called a Line Output Converter. i can't remember if the rear speakers are in the rear deck or not, if so grab your speaker output there. If they aren't in the rear deck with easy access, you can catch them in the main harness to the rear of the vehicle. On route to the rear, the speaker lines are most typically twisted together. Although, you'll need a tone generator to text to make sure you have the right speaker lines. I could use the money, been a Installer since early 2000.. just worried about losing my job... :(

ok listen, from the best buy point of view, yes i worked there for a year and a half and first fuck fort myers your guys are always to busy to help, your installer loved me when he mouthed off to me and i told him i worked at the other store and fucked him over, but anyways at fort myers and at bonita there are very few good employees and we rip you off lol you should see our discount. thank you for quitting three days ago lol:)

usually best buy employees get like 50-60% off of car audio if i remember clearly , my sister used to work there.
