H.I.D Issue

So today I installed a h.I.d kit on my friends Kia Accent, both head and fog lights. The headlights are working fine but the fog lights blow a fuse and I checked to see if maybe negitive and postive touched and it looked like it could have so I made sure they didn't touch and replaced the fuse. My friend just called and said it blow again so no fogs are working. I'm guessing because its compliting the circuit, but I'm not sure. It has a 10 amp fuse but do you think its too low and it needs a bigger one? I didn't check the voltage but I'm going to next time around. Any input would be great. Thanks

40 amp fuse. Fuck it, it's a Kia. If it blows up it blows up.

Put a 20amp in it. HID's don't draw a lot of current, but I'm sure both ballasts are 7.5a each at least.

or i had the problem of the wiring in the kit not being done up right. i had to take apart the connectors and flip a few wires around. nothing crazy.

It's the initial draw that kills fuses, try a 20 amp.

i wouldn't use hid's on the stock fog wires, i would either get a kit or make one with a relay to hook those up. the fuse also matches the wiring in the car, if the fuse cant hold them neither could the wires.

thats pricing on 35W. But I can get you 50W. I don't sell as many as those so I'd need to get pricing. Let me know if any of you are interested!
