New Heads

So lately over the last 2 1/2 weeks i've been changing the heads on the monte

I opted for Competition Cam rockers and all new hoses and wires.

I sand blasted my intake manifold and painted the new heads chevy orange along with all the brackets.

It should be done tomorrow afternoon after i adjust the rocker arms and the timing.

I saw a blue '70 or '71 a couple of days ago and it's been driving me crazy.

The paint was really really shitty and it was in horrible shape.

It kind of looked like the one in ace Ventura lol

I would put a procharger on but i'm trying to keep it somewhat original for resale.

In the next 6 months i'd like to find a 454 to drop in and then a 373 rear end.

Probably the rear end first

But i'm happy where i'm at now.

I haven't been down low enough to look at the crank but it's definatley bored out .30 over.

Forrest's and Tom's stangs both got down pretty nasty on the street. - That nova is ridiculous. A close eye will catch the rear rim screws, but that's really about the only give-away to what lies beneath.

Actually the last I heard of it he was still driving it back and forth to work everyday. No reason he can't really. It's a mild engine combo, just built for the boost. It could put around town no problems.
