Before my piston went I would say it was a high 11 car. After I fix that I'm hoping for mid 11's. I'm kicking myself for not taking it to the track before it blew.

Ill give him the benifit of the doubt. He said he ran a low 13 previously with less power. So i'm going with a 12.9 @ 108.

id say mid to high 12's for my car.. previous set up with dr's on the 50 shot ran 13.2.. bump for the 100 shot and slicks..shooting for like 12.6

the guy i bought the nitrous kit with the same mods as me ran a 13.2 on dr's with a 50 shot... i am on a 100 shot and will have slicks.. so im looking for like 12.6

They run 15's stock.so they drop 2 full seconds with a dr and a 50shot? Lol someone is smoking something good.and if you Dont have the slips it diddnt happen

yea I gotta question a si on a 50 shot running in the low 13's and a 100 shot high to mid 12's.....fully bolted they don't even do that.
Drag radials??? do you make enough torque to spin them, just asking man cuz I had an 08 si and really don't think I could get it to spin at the strip. What would trap be, and don't come back with like a 110 trap speed cuz then i will have to call bs.

11. something (I want to say 9) on 1/4 mile based off a track recipt from the old owner he showed me when I looked at the car
probably 19.1 on a 1/4 for me driving because I fail :D
I don't know if I'll ever take the scooby to the strip though. My buddy looked at my axles and said they looked "sketchy" but I plan on getting 600hp ones for front and rear eventually anyways

I'd like to break into the 11's with my headers, converter, and tires. Might need a bit more to accomplish that though ... but it has been done locally before, slight more parts but stock internals.

We only have one cam.
My goal is 11.999 on the 100 shot. Then on the 150 shot I would be happy with mid 11s. Going to take alot of seat time.

More reading comprehension FTL!
So far 9.74@142 in my 96. Hoping to hit a 9.5x-9.6x without adding more power. Just getting the car dialed in better.
Best time with the LT1 has been an 11.7@122, all motor, with a soft launch and a weak 60 ft (I think 1.98). The goal for it is to hit an 11.3x after the rear and suspension are done, and it can be launched the way it needs to be launched!:devillook Once I meat that goal, I may put some spray to it along with a taller tire and see how far into the 10's I can get it, and long this stock shortblock will hold together!
The 03 will hopefully be a mid 8 second car when its done.........at this rate, hopes and dreams is all that is:rofl1:

best my bird hs done has been 12.8 @ 108 on DR's with shorty headers and cat back...now i have a clutch and a ypipe and cut out and lid...so honestly on street tires i could prolly get another 12.8 since i dont have the dr's again...with them id expect a 12.6 or under...

Best ET was 13.803@103, best trap is 14.1@109.... Street tires, good amount of spin, and in need of some seat time. Hoping with seat time and tires I can break a 12.99 but not sure....

Reason I question this is because he listed a set of LS heads (3rd generation chevy small block) in his first link. Those heads WILL NOT work on a 2nd generation csb. The LT1 (2nd gen) shares absolutely NOTHING with the LS1 (3rd gen) save the valve cover bolts being interchangable.

those heads wont fit a 2nd gen chevy small block...unless you have a 3rd gen small block...meaning a LS1, etc...

even if it does have a 3.75" stroke 400 crank, with those stock replacement heads, shit exhaust manifolds, and performer intake, that motor is being choked off up top. It will make good torque, but wont make shit for power.
it reminds me of people with LT1s that build 383s and use stock unported heads. Then they make threads complaning that they make the same power as when they had boltons, but at en even lower RPM:rofl1:
The extra cubes are worthless if you cant move the extra air in and out!:ugh2:

I feel low 11's on spray would be pretty reasonable with my first time tracking the car. With some sticky rubber and better driver mod, 10's should be possible in the future.
