Lookie what just walked in the door... Just received the trans/converter for Project Shocker!!
It is a DYNAMIC Racing Transmission M2 X6 with a full manual valve body and trans-brake. JW Performance supplied the SFI Flywheel and Bellhousing. The converter is a TCT 9" Renegade converter.
One step closer! The SFI 25.2 chassis should be done by the end of the month, at which time we'll drive to Ohio, bring it home, and begin assembly here at the shop!

I'm super stoked. This one's been a long time coming. They're full custom transmission/converters, built specifically for your combination. The converter should be really close, but we're gonna dyno the car with a driveshaft speed sensor to basically "dyno" the converter. We'll email them the data and see if the converter needs any tweaking.
All parties involved (Rigid Race Cars, DYNAMIC Racing Trans, Mustang Motorsports, etc) think that when we get the converter tune nailed, the car should run a 1.29 short time on the 275/60-15 M/Ts, so that's our goal. I know it takes a lot of work but we all have a "whatever it takes" attitude about this project.
I will not rest until it makes 1000rwhp and runs a 1.29 60'. I'll take whatever ET we get from there-

No prob. I'll respond when I receive it.

Thanks Roy. :) To be honest, I'm a little nervous. I've never built something at this level... I didn't really have to think about it too much while I was waiting on parts, but now that basically everything's here (except the chassis) it's pretty much "do or die" from here on out. I've got some pretty heavy duty obligations with this project, so failure is not an option.
No Pressure! (yeah right) :ugh2:

You and me both, guys. Heck, I can't wait to HEAR it! Solid-roller cam with 2" headers? Should sound NASTY! :devillook
It's killing me to wait for the chassis, but the guy does good work. Hopefully he's on schedule so I can pick it up at the end of the month.
I was thinking I'd have the wheels & tires this week, but I don't know. We'll see.
