Performance Chips...

wondering if any of you have any knowledge or experience with performance chips that add hp. Let me know of any ideas or suggestions on brands or types that work.

For what type of car? I don't believe GTO's have chips.

You have to buy a programmer for our cars. Don't do it, save another 150 dollars and get a professional tune.

Don't waste your money for a generic tune, in fact on an NA car, don't waste your money on any tuning until you have mods that need it for support.

What type of mods are on the car? If it is stock or just has bolt-ons, a street tune would be the best way to go for the money.

I believe you are getting a cam and headers right? Just plan to do it around when Jeremy Formato comes to roys next, and have him tune the car. He is arguably the best LSx tuner in the country.

yeah its for the GTO. ok, I wasnt sure if they had chips or not. yeah I getting a cam, headers and exhaust and will just get it tuned then.

Pretty much every GM car, 1994 and newer has flash based memory. No chips required.
