Nice score, never been a big dirt bike person myself, but they can definitely be fun.

hahaha! picked it up for under 1k, needs some cleaning, brakes, rear fender, number plate and a couple other little bullshit things. for the deal i got, cant complain!


now i need to get back in shape and go race this thing!

I found a deal on a yellow one. '99 Suzuki RM 250

Runs mint, front and rear tires are brand new.
Couple scuffs from being raced through the woods.
Tears ass and starts with one kick. $1000 cash. :rock

Has Race Tech Gold Valva suspension
billet triple clamp, Pro-Taper bars,
Bark Busters, and a Scott's steering dampener

I'm stoked. As is my boy. :yeas
He can't really shift yet but he launched it and rode around in 1st gear until it got dark.:biggrin

Yep thats it. I gave him the G and had him deliver it to my place across the Cape. The guy was 40ish and looked like he wanted to cry letting it go. So much damn power. Crank the throttle and watch the front tire rise any gear. Good stuff. I'm in lust.

It will need a new clutch soon. But that seems reasonable for the price and condition. What will that cost me?

Haha! He only touches on one side. This morning he hopped on it and leaned too far into it and the bike squashed him on the other side. I pulled it off him and he got up and took the handle bars from me. Its way too heavy for him. But he is making it work. If I could ride his pocket bike he can ride my 250. :biggrin I'm not raising no sissy boy here.:SolidStraight:

got some graphics on, seat cover dont really match but i dont care.

All i need now is a front number plate and a rear tube, and it will be ready to hit the track/trails.

I took mine out to the Yukapan Tuesday for the first time. Lots of sugar sand, but still fun. I live close enough to just ride on out there.
