Exhaust/muffler Rattle...

hey guys,

My left muffler has some sort of rattle going on. Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be or how to fix it??

Is it hitting the heat shield or the bottom of the car? Is it the stock exhaust?

nothing is loose or moving around at all... yeah its stock. Its almost like its inside the muffler...

Cats are up front and muffler is out back. Noise coming from front or back?

you cant hear it from in front of the car at all. To me, the noise sounds like its coming from the left muffler...

Well the cats when they fall apart could leave particles to jam in the piping and muffler, I would say take your complete exhaust system off from back to front. When u take the mufflers off crank the car see if it rattles If it doesn't replace the muffler , if it still rattles go further up and get the midpipes off and so on untill u only have manifolds on and do not start the car with manifolds

Most likely a cat is shot. Drive up next to a curb with your windows down, that'll help you hear the problem a little better.
