i beat the WRX
lost to the silver 350z bye 1 tenth
lost to yellow bye 3 tenths even though i spun to the 330 mark

My 30" tires are killing me- couldnt pull better than a 2.2 60' which SUX- so im getting Nitto 555r's on my stock wheels, as well as an electric water pump and new e-fans to keep my temp below 210 which is what it stayed @

best time was 9.47....................................... with a 2.3 60ft' so gotta get the temp down and gotta get smaller tires

What was your trap speed?

Damn I need to get out there and run you already, my RSX did a 9.3 stock, and a 9.15 on the 1/4 timeslip from bradenton, but it might be a better track than Immok. And I know my 240 can do a little better (maybe 8.8x-8.9x). Which car do you want to run?

Instead of new fans, use a colder thermo and run straight water with water wetter and 5% AF. That'll keep your temps down more than different 'efans' will.

i am running a colder t-stat- 160*- the staging lanes kill everyone out there- im sure it has 8 second passes- my 60' sucked my best 60' was 2 tenths slower than when i had stock tires- so im getting some weld racing wheels with nitto 555r's and shit to keep it cool- it is much faster now but the 30" tires kill me

turn the truck off and push it in the staging lanes you fool. in flate your front tire by 5-8psi, drop your rears by the same and then in 2psi intervals untill you get the times your looking for (just dont go to low). remove spare tire and jack, any subs, trade out a power drivers seat( 80 lbs in some cases) for the non power passanger, remove back seat.

okay push your 4400+ lbs suv bye your self from all the way in the back- that sounds like fun- when i turn my truck off the temp jumps up to 240+ degrees and it takes it an hour plus to cool down- so i dont think idea is very smart for my vehicle you fool.

160?

Wow, that is way too low.

You have to let the coolant sit in the rad to cool before letting it back into the system.

That is so low it is basically staying open and not letting the coolant get chilled in the rad.

Get youself a 180 or so and you should be doing a bit better.

lol i could prolly get 150lbs out of it between the sound system and 3 seats but i dont see the point- thats not how im gonna run people on the street - but it would be fun- i might do it if i go with a bunch of you guys and once i get it to cool down

Oh, also, just sit in the pits with your heat full blast.

If your already doing that, I can't see any other reason than the thermo, for it being that temp.
