The car is basically stock i was only at 8PSI and i had never launched it before. But w/e it was still fun as hell.

9.6...... :jeroff:
main thing is he needs to get his launch- even launching from like 3800 it would still bog- also his tranny isnt being to much of a good soldier

understandable, i wouldn't say your car is stock though, just close to it. i wasn't trying to downplay your run either cause it's all about having fun, i just thought your car would be a little quicker; but as 02vortec said, your tranny and launches weren't agreeing with you.

Oooh 9.6.
Wanna run me sometime? Not in the 240, in the bolt-on RSX, from a dig.
And actually 9.6 at 71 - the launch is OK, but the trap speed (top end) isn't so strong. Is your boost tapering by redline?

mr2 huh....rev it up and dump it lol. well dont be stupid though. ive been in spinningall4's mr2 (the yellow one) and he just took it up to say 7,xxx an launched that thing nasty. it was chirp and go. but hes pretty much rebuilding that "toy" drive train/ motor/ susp. wise.
but yeah you could be seeing boost creap/leak. get yourself an ebc and check all the vaccum hoses.

he was running half the boost of what his norm is........................... a 2.5 60ft is good??????
DUDE you lost to his brother when hes boosting @ 16psi game over for even the s2000 man---- Negrodamus and i both beleive i can beat the s2000 on my 100shot hell the mr2 on 14.5psi pulled barley a car length on me- THIS make me not beleive your times or else it was 50 degrees out and you had slicks (even the s2000's with slicks h/I/E where running 9.3)..........

Who did I race and lose to that was boosting? The only car that I've raced while boosting is myself. And if you look at the times of S2000s at Immokalee, their trap speed is going to be equal to or better than mine even if I have a better time. Reason: my gearing is better. Ask negrodamus or any other Honda that I have raced, my car is quicker in first and second gears, not because I have crazy horsepower or spray, but because of the gearing of '05 type s. Look on streetfire for vids of stock s2000s and s2000s with a gear swap and you will see what I mean. I have no doubt that a 16psi MR2 will walk away from me, I was stating that I want to run the MR2 in the state of tune that it ran at Immokalee.
If you pay attention, I also say that I have not run anything better than a 9.3 at Immokalee now have I? I ran a 14.1 at Bradenton, which is a stickier track than Immokalee is, and on that particular slip my 330' (1/8 mile) was 9.15. If you want me to duplicate that run for you I'd be glad to do so, but I really don't want to waste my time with someone that I've already challenged once, went out to the fucking spot, only to have you call and say that you "forgot your bottle".
Additionally, a headlight margin of victory isn't exactly blown away. When I race S2000s, it's generally pull shift get pulled shift pull, etc. What would you expect anyways from a 2890lb/215whp car (me), vs. a 2750lb/210whp car (S2K) no shit its gonna be close. Now that I'm tuned, I'm sure I gained something, maybe not peak, but the midrange sure is a hell of a lot fatter, and my limiter is extended. I still don't go talking shit about people, especially if I stood someone up for a race.

FWIW my 14.1 was on a 48 degree day in January.
If you doubt me further visit www.clubrsx.com and look in the 1/4 racing section. If anything, my times are SLOWER than theirs, probably because I'm a heavier driver

stood someone up???????????? hmmm lemme dig up some of you PM's
okay here we go
CT9AR
Well shit, my ECU came back from Hondata without the flash because I misspelled the serial number mad.gif
Fucking idiots, just read it off the damn ECU thats IN YOUR HANDS!
Anyways ive been working late and weekends recently for my new project, but I'm off thursday night. You wanna go to that road then and run em? I saw that you lost to 00stangGT by alot, and he SHOULD only beat me by .5 or less. So with that in mind it should be fun, we can go from a stop and 40 roll, just to see whats up. Let me know. I'll run you now and after my tune.
and then next one-
and video tape it plz.
Oh btw, the only reason i want to do both roll and dig is because bald stock tires + 4.77 final drive = spin. But I'll decrease the pressure to 22ish to give you the best dig run that I can for a Honda.
so thanks for trying but we never set a date or time or anything-

Plus why dont you just do it anywhere else other than BUFU..........?????????? i could've raced that night but seen as how your little spot is an hour drive from me- ya okay thats cool-

take the argument to PM's and stay on topic.

I'll run you at a track from a dig, roll, corners, whatever. As you read from my PM, I told you thaT I'd run you from a dig even if I had to reel your slow truck in on top end.
Yes, I don't usually race on streets like Metro and 41 jackass. Some of us on this forum happen to be done with the highschool wannabe fast and furious bullshit and prefer to race where you aren't going to get your balls busted by the popo and get your car impounded like quite a few people on this forum and NR have.
Also, when you tell me that you will be at a race spot in 30 minutes, that is "setting a time", you think you'd realize if you had your nitrous in your car before a race. Meet me tonight in the 240 to run... "Oh shit, I forgot my turbo!".
As for meeting you on weekdays at 10 or later as you always request in PMs, I have this little thing called a job, you get those after you graduate HS. I happen to work a lot busting my ass to pay for my two cars and my own place. Next time I try to race you, it's going to be at a full 1/4 track with videotape and a timeslip. 1/4 is a race, not a 1/8. If you can't man up and go to a full track, don't waste my time.
Argument done, anything further, PM me.

BTW S2000 w/ IHE or S2000 stock makes no difference. Check the S2000 forums, they are lucky to get 10hp from all three boltons, the car is very well tuned from the factory, it makes 120hp/l.

You guys are crackheads, why dont all you go to the track on friday and run?
btw the rsx would take the s2k 4 sure in the 1/8. from a 40 roll it would be a different story. and..if the blazer were to run the 100 shot in teh 1/8, dave i think that he would beat you. did u get ur tune yet?

Yeah my car has the tune now. It didn't help low end all that much, but my power doesn't drop off at ~7500 anymore, it keeps pulling until the 8600 limiter. I want 02vortec to race me at a full 1/4 mile track. If he's pulling 9.4x I'll definately win, but if he gets in slicks or DRs than it'll be worse.
What's an FI V6 got to fear from an N/A I4 in the 1320 anyways?
If it must be the 1/8, ill borrow or buy some slicks or DRs to balance it out a bit.
Let me know like two weeks ahead of time when you are going to the track 02vortec, I gotta make sure to get that time off work. I'm usually doing support from my house until 8pm, but it can be arranged if I know you're going.
