So I got a friend with an 04 Civic SI and decided to race my cars against each other.
240SX at 9psi, RSX with 5 boltons.
Race 1: Dig, me in RSX, friend in 240.
RSX ahead until 50mph, 240 pulls 1 car by 100.
Race 2: Dig, me in 240, friend in RSX.
240 ahead from dig until 100 - 3 cars.
Race 3: 40 Roll, me in RSX, friend in 240.
Used my "roll move" from 40 and pulled a car on the 240, got reeled and a car put back on me by 100.
To the advantage of the RSX it does have the 4.77 final drive ratio and a Quaife LSD installed.
Conclusion: Yes the 240 is faster, but damn have I4s come a long way since the early '90s. A 5-bolt on N/A 2.0L having close races with a boosted 2.0L. Need a volunteer to drive my 240 against myself again when I replace the restricted muffler and ghetto intake and turn boost back up to 11psi to see the difference, but not drive off with my car :mad: Igor?
Also need a camera man or woman.
P.S. my friend can't launch, anything.
