So when are you swapping? I know an LT1 fits, an LS1 should too.

lt1 is much cheaper- but i think when i swap it will be for a carburated LS1-
first off carburation = very easy to tune, very easy nitrous set-up configs or do a turbo :), cheaper, easier to do everything, still can keep the coil on plug set-up and dont need a $900 wiring harness- and allows me to use awsome trannys like Turbo 400's which can handle 900hp for $900 instead of $2000 4l80e's that can only handle 600hp-
The reduced cost would allow for maybe a ford 8.8" rear end or @ best a 9" with dana axles.
but i will only do this once i have daily driver. and about $5k to put into the blazer (i can pick up an ls1 long block for $600 from a forum member :))

plan on keeping it for a long time- and dropping a v8 in with either alot of boost or alot of juice
