Do those things make it quiet? Or are they there just to add back pressure?

I would think MB has a purpose for them, for being that size so I would say to make it quiet..

hell if they just wanted to add back pressue they could of saved space and used resonators.

there's no sound clip for this car. i was just amazed at how freaking huge they are!
