WTF? Something does not sound right...

I was on 41 today, and I was waiting at a light, and then a black skittle (with black rims, and a polished lip) pulls up next to me, with the radio on blast, he then looks over revs and points at the light.

I look at the light, and when I look back at him, he launches to where all you hear is a couple chirps, and I stomp on the gas while switching the car to sport mode, and hold onto his rear fender, While he shifts i move up like 4 ft, and by the end of 3rd gear im almost a full cars lenth on him.

At the next light he pulls up, and hes like.. "shit... I thought I had you"...

I think that my car is pulling around 240 on both HP, and torque.

Is something wrong? I thought that those cars had like.. 270 hp or something... wtf?? :whoknows: <-----::::confused::::

What kinda car where you driving. Stock SRT's are 230whp/240tq. Revin' like that sounds like a ricer, are u sure it was a SRT or was it the SXT with the SRT body kit :greg1: ?

the kid might not be able to drive too good. you sure about the numbers on your car? i didn't think honda's ever had their hp #'s and tq #'s matching; it's usually a good amount of hp with a shitty amount of tq.

Nop, it was an SRT. You could hear the BOV between shifts, I am driving a 98 Volvo. Well I am not ranking on the car, but I expected to get owned. I thought that they were alot quicker when I test drove one the other day.

I dont know... maybe he didnt know how to drive, or maybe the volvo is just a little quicker. :whoknows:

How fast did you get up to? if it was only a launch and then a 1 to 2 gear race, yea they are not that fast, wait for that 3rd gear though :drive:

well when I noticed that I was that far ahead I looked at the speedo, and I was just passing 75... it sounded like he was shifting to 4th when I really gained lenth on him. I might be wrong tho. I would like to try again. I think that he sucked behind the wheel.

it's totally possible to beat an srt. especially me, cause even if i DECIDED to race on a street, i cant drag for crap, i'm sure. but for him to be in 4th gear means he was doing over what...99mph?
