so i came across someone who's selling their bnr stage turbos.. at 17lbs they produce 421 rwhp. a really nasty twin turbo. only 1200$ with 3k miles on them. i plan on getting a loan this week so i can get a new diff and get the turbos. never messed with turbos before so any of you all know how to install them? lemme know

I would make sure my car is in tip-top shape before tackling 421 hp, esp when your car broke with what it has now. Thats just me though, I wanna rest assured that anything I do to the car won't break it again. I would get it up and running again and look at what the possibilities are then, not so much now. Again, thats just me.
When is it gonna be up and running again btw?

also engine management.
I mean, get the turbos if you wanna do a big build all at once (='s saving money) but make sure (like others mentioned) be sure to fix everything else at the same time and upgrade your fuel system and engine management.
Also think about cooling - throwing big-ass turbos on your car and turning the boost up = lots more heat in your engine bay. (trust me I'd know now with my miata, lol. Which, btw, the water pump will be fixed sometime this week. Parts on order.)

dood! if the car goes (as in drives) in reverse.....its not the diff. sounds like you sheared the keyways off the the forward gear shafts.....i'd take the loan and buy a built tranny. or have it rebuilt.

it its definately the diff. we took it all apart and the internals are shattered. its kinda strange. but yea with this new turbo setup i'm just buying it for now, not installing it yet until i get rid of my efini twins, then comes the power fc, fuel pump, injectors blah blah blah, when i installing i'm keeping it at very low boost just to get used to it. i know the drill. i wouldn't slap on a turbo like that and just drive with no management and injectors whatsoever. i'm not a retard. but yea its a steal since they go for 2300$

For one BNR's are NOT bigger turbo's!!! They are just stock turbos with better/clipped blades, better thurst bearings and all that ishhh..#2 ryan if you are gonna do that you need the PFC and the fuel system like we talked about before...#3 the stock rear end is a damn strong rear end...There is a guy ruinning the stock rear end on a twin turbo ls1 running 9's..
P.S. I know how you feel man im still awaiting my turbos..I havent driven my car in a month and it suxs!!!But it will be worth the wait..
