I paid $2225 before shipping from the U.K. I paid just under 3600 after all shipping and customs fees and broker fees and all but, I drove it home from the port in Jacksonville on Friday........ :thumbsup:

I dont know about that.. I think that I saw some a while back.. or at least someone claimed that it was... they said something about the interior, and the headlights beinga little dif.. :whoknows: I dont know..

up untill bmw made the mini, they where produced.

Yeah you can buy a 2001 Mini Cooper that looks very similiar it is what they call the bell design body. They have been produced by diff. manufacturers as a matter of fact the the late 70's- late 80's is when they came out with designer models to boost sales in the U.K.
You probably have not found one in the USA b/c they would have to be imported and if the car you are importing is not 25 years old or older you are required to meet EPA and DOT standards. Which means replacing all glass, lights, and typically exhaust. amongst other things.
I had done a lot of research into these before buying this one and then you have to be careful b/c a lot of people that are selling these will do what they call re-vining as if I need to explain this the problem that arises with that is the car has to be throughly inspected at customs as well as the state of Florida send out some one to inspect the car before you can register it.
