Does anyone know how I can adjust the wastegate on my turbo?
I was looking through tech articles, and I found one of the problems that I am having. My wastegate is set to low, and thats why the car is always in vac. I am supposed to adjust some screw somewhere. Can anyone tell me where i can find that screw, or what it looks like?

Your wastegate has a spring, you use different springs for different amounts of pressure.
Regardless of the spring, you will make some sort of boost.
You either have a vac leak or your bov is bleeding boost.

well I hear it hiss if I manually apply throttle. I am going to replace most of the turbo components just to make sure. I have spent alot so far... I might wait a little bit.. I dont want to take a bite into my savings trying to fix this damn thing.

You are automatically assuming he has an external or poppet type valve. If it is an internal, diaphragm type wastegate then he is correct about adjusting the actuator rod. Tightening it should hold it closed longer and make more boost, loosening it will cause slow spool and less boost. Internal gates suck BTW.

its probably the bov leaking. check the fitment of it and if the seal is still tight. i know of a problem with my car that the forge bov had bad sealing rings. dunno if urs has one too.
