i know theres interest here... why not get a group of guys together and build an amatuer team? theres guys on here like myself that are willing to tool on anyones car for little bit more than a few slices of pizza and a beer. i think it would be cool to have a loose team for the dgtrials in orlando at the end of next month.
we basicly have a driver or two, just need some support guys and a psuedo-manager to help organize....
oh and there will be cool shirts if this happens.

Im all over repping FMR. If I could get a few people together we could get FMR some real publicity... in orlando?
lol. I think it would be a great idea, any interest?

heres a very rough t-shirt idea, a white shirt or any other bright color could be used. and the "support" bit could be changed to driver if needed....

why not just wear the FMR shirts from the group buy?

I'm deffiantly intrested in this. I have the car, it's not tottaly where I want it, I need a new head gasket, rack n pinion, and a couple other little things. Stuff i want to get taken care of before I even go tryin to learn to drift.
I'm deffiantly in for going to events and helping out though, even if I can't/don't drive. Hit me up on pm's or talk to me out at the meets, I'm out most saturdays.

Ok, lets say we get like 4-5 guys together, what do you guys have in mind?

well the benifit of having a team is that when "practicing" there can be someone to watch and evaluate the driving style. a team can give moral support to other drives of the team, or make a newer driver feel more comfortable at their first events.
and when drifting on back roads, the more advance drivers lead, getting pressure from behind, and the newer ones get to try and push harder to keep up. everyone learns here.
it also will help to spread the cost of hotels when going out of town/state. and more ppl to help carry tires around.

I do like the idea of having a gorup there watching at events, giving input on what the crowd sees. should i start a thread with who would be interested?

I'm down for whatever right now, but eventually I'm going to want to drive. It's the whole reason why I bought my car, it's what I'm working toward.

well the way i see it not everyone will be running at the same time so you will be able to watch.

i'll be down when i get my new kaaz lsd either that or cusco still not sure. should be getting it next week. i'm all about this idea. igor definately catches eyes so it would be very good publicity for fmr. i'm an amatuer at this so i will be watching a lot, but i'm down with this idea because everyone will be able to learn so much from everyone else, no matter how much they know about drifting. so whether its support, driving, or just working on a car i'm down and i'll support fmr 100% either way. and it'll probably actually get me to not be scared to attend events. always afraid of embarassing myself, but thats what everyone does the first few times they attend events right? lol
