That was problly one of the funniest times of my life.. I was on 5 diffrent TV channels within like a 2-3 week period. EVERYONE was like WTF I saw you on TV!! and they had NO idea that I drifted..

I used to work at Mimi's Cafe back in the day, and they have a huge TV on there, and they happened to be on the news channel when i came on lol...

but yea.. im a lot more toned down with drifting now.. i barley do it anymore.

damn you should keep yer skills up lol. i guess i can agree with you back in the day when you said it was getting to 'ricer'ish, and that was when you had the miata and was really into auto-x. i keep seeing these magazines about drifting, and half the people who have seen FF3 think they know everything about it.

once i saw FF3 i just looked at the underline below FF3 - Tokyo Drift (god i shouldnt even capitalize it) and i was like one of those guys on TV where the camera zooms out slowly while the guy holds the object out and yells NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

damn...and im starting to see these guys who just recently got into go "yeah i was pre-FF3 drifter. yeah im cool" wow...i never thought it would get that bad, shit me and you wanted to do it before FF2 came out, and that was all about drag racing and stupid bullshit. lol.

well...the pix ive seen (cant watch the videos on here, stupid ass DoD access, and NIPR is slower than 56K) of you drifting seem like you could be extremely good man. you have to be even if your on the news. i wish i would of seen that part of the news, id be like holy shit! lets see how much FF3 they talk about LOL.

lol. this was like 3 years ago when the D scene wasnt in the states and Option barely had vids in the states about tokyo's mountains.

im sorry, i just get really offended, i wish drifting would stay a japanease sport....it wasnt even a sport back then, it was just a bunch of guys wanting to have fun in the mountain passes. shit...

sorry man, i just, idk, i have tons of respect for those drivers who are professional at it, and i know what its like, because i was in the scene, and its extremely hard.

well thats pretty sweet, i mean when i was about to leave for the army i was teaching those hispanic guys with civics that go to ritters how to drift, and whenever id talk about drifting to somebody they would be like "yeah i drift all the time just about" and im thinking like sweet me and this guy could probly touge or practice it, untill im like so what do you drive? "D16 civic hatch" and im like ".....look its a bird! ::runs away::" lol.

well thats nice to know that we got some decent drifters now in the SWFL area :)
