so i'm finally doing some small body work, a while back i messed up my front bumper because i hit a car while sleeping at the wheel so i decided to go ahead and get a new front bumper and some headlights since those got messed up as well.. i was gonna go with this setup....

feed type2 front bumper with 99 spec combo lights

and east bears sleek headlight kit ... it looks a lot like the RE sleek headlights just without the lexan cover.

i've purchased the bumper already and the headlights are pending sale but havent heard from owner. so lemme know what you guys think.

It looks sweet man, i like how that bumper looks on that car all you need is a turbo kit with a nice FMIC

No He doesnt need an FMIC...Well that is unless he feels like rebuilding his engine any time soon.... FMIC and FD's dont get along on daily driver's in this wonderful heat we have...

Well not really need, just a personal opinion. I do think i'd look hot if it had one, but reguardless it looks hot.

yea i like how fmic look on fd's but i've already got a smic and i figured i'd just put mesh over the vents, i wasn't really planning on doing anything to the body when i first got this car because i think it looks beautiful just stock but i need a new bumper and stock replacements are just as expensive as this one so i figured why not... plus i love those 99 spec lights.. a must have for fd owners, i was just gonna go with the 99 spec bumper but too expensive for my blood haha.

Looks tasteful and seems to fit the lines of the car

definitely one of my all time fav cars

I like the lexan covered ones more. They just follow the lines of the car instead of kinda holding the projectors right?

The bumper looks nice though.

i like that bumper, but i think that one and the regular spec 99 bumper only look good with the stock headlights

with the non-pop up headlights it looks like too much is going on

i agree like i said i never really wanted to do anything to the body, but both parts are all messed up now, and both the bumper and headlights are cheaper than the stock parts, plus i just think the flip up lights are ugly not that the flip up but just the look of the headlight, i'd take the knightsport headlights if i could get them but too much...

You should go with these. I like the OEM look.

When the headlights popup, it would reveal a darkside. :)

heres what you do. take off that white head lamp cover and have it paintmatched to the rest of the car untill you can afford the knightsports.

My personal favorite of the sleek headlight kits are the RE Amemiya kit. I know you don't wanna spend that much though so you could look into the rotaryextreme's kit. They are closed for a little while right now so your gonna have to wait until their back open.
